In 1997, when thousands of people over Phoenix, Arizona, watched a mysterious display of V-shaped lights moving across the sky – an event now known as the “Phoenix Lights” – a seed of doubt was planted in the public mind. Although these lights were dismissed by the authorities as military flares, many couldn’t help but wonder. Are we alone?
Nearly half a century earlier, in July 1952, a similar episode – the “Washington Lights” – shook the nation. It was a moment of considerable significance, but was quickly swept under the rug, despite overwhelming evidence and countless eyewitness accounts.
These and many other observations over the years, including the notorious “Rendlesham Forest” incident in 1980, where several U.S. military officers reported seeing an unidentified object land in a forest in England, and the incredible case from 1994, where over 60 children in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, independently described an encounter with an unidentified aerial phenomenon and its presumed extraterrestrial passengers, have all challenged the established view of UFOs.
These incidents have received new attention in light of revelations such as the secret Pentagon program, The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), and shocking testimonies like “The Nimitz Encounter”. All of these pieces of evidence point to the possibility that we may not be alone in the universe.
In this discussion, we cannot avoid mentioning Haim Eshed, the former head of Israel’s space agency. Eshed sent shockwaves through the scientific community in 2020 when he claimed that both the USA and Israel had been communicating with a “galactic federation” of alien races.
In addition to these significant accounts and revelations, there have been initiatives on a global level to seriously address the UFO/ET phenomenon. Members of The United Nations, the largest intergovernmental organization, has occasionally attempted to address the issue, recognizing the importance of the subject and the potential implications for global security, diplomacy, and understanding of our place in the universe. Dispite this, there has been no real public or official recognition of the subject, unfortunately.
Despite these overwhelming indications and accounts from credible sources, we face institutional resistance and outdated prejudices. This resistance extends across science, politics, philosophy, medicine, religion and much more. This resistance and unwillingness to acknowledge the obvious is not just a personal issue, but also an institutional one.
I am just an ordinary guy, sitting here and writing this sh!t. I don’t have a Ph.D. in astrophysics, I’m not a former employee of a government secret program, and I’ve never had a close encounter with an extraterrestrial being. But that doesn’t make me less qualified to see what’s right in front of us all. Sometimes you don’t have to be an emperor to see that the emperor has no clothes on. It just takes courage to say it out loud.
There are countless documented incidents, eyewitness accounts, and official reports, all pointing in the same direction: We have already had contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life. Phoenix Lights, Washington Lights, Rendlesham Forest, Ruwa, Zimbabwe – the list goes on and on. In each of these cases, some form of intelligence has demonstrated technology far ahead of our own and has shown behavior that suggests a consciousness beyond our understanding.
Meeting the extraterrestrial raises deeper questions about our own identity as humans. It challenges us to ask: “Who are we?” more than “Who are they?” We need to understand our own nature, our place in the cosmic picture, and how we can engage with intelligent life beyond our own planet.
It’s as if we are standing on the edge of a threshold, staring into the unknown, and asking ourselves: “What do we do now, little you?” As the famous Danish singer Kim Larsen once sang it. This is our collective moment, our “contact” moment. It is no longer a question of “if”, but a question of “when” and “how”. How will we as a civilization, as a species, handle this unavoidable truth? How will we navigate the unknown landscape that is opening up to us? These are the questions we must confront in our quest to acknowledge the obvious truth: that we are not alone.
In our ongoing quest to understand the mysteries of the universe, certain resources stand out for their depth of information and the unique perspectives they offer. Among these are the great multi-faceted works, through more then thirty years, by UFOlogist Dr. Steven Greer, the books and podcasts of historian Richard Dolan, the COMETA report, the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), and ‘The Black Vault’. All invaluable in shedding light on the enigmatic world of UFOs and extraterrestrial life.
UFOlogist Dr. Steven Greer stands as one of the most prominent and long-standing voices in the modern disclosure landscape. For more than three decades, he has focused on documenting institutional testimony, whistleblower accounts, and the structural mechanisms behind UFO and UAP secrecy. Through the Disclosure Project, his documentary films, and the Disclosure Project Intelligence archive (DPIArchive.com), Greer’s work connects the question of extraterrestrial presence to broader issues of transparency, technology, and humanity’s readiness to understand its place in a wider cosmic context.
Historian Richard Dolan, a preeminent historian and researcher in the UFO field, offers profound insights into the complexity of UFO phenomena. His landmark book series, ‘UFOs and the National Security State,’ Volumes I and II, delve into the U.S. government’s response to UFO sightings with an unprecedented level of detail and analysis.
Another great resource is The COMETA report,, a comprehensive document compiled by high-ranking French officials and scientists, which delves into numerous UFO encounters with a level of detail and analysis that is rarely seen in such studies. It offers a profound look into how governments and scientific communities approach the question of UFOs.
The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) in the U.S. provides an extensive public platform for individuals to report and study UFO sightings. Its database is a rich source of eyewitness accounts and analytical data, contributing significantly to our collective understanding of these unexplained phenomena.
